Get ready to become Big Boss with this radically badass Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes iDroid iPhone case.
It’s not been that long since Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was released, but it looks like Konami’s revealing to us its delectable treats for the game title already, with the introduction of the iDroid iPhone 5/5S case. Hideo Kojima has even*revealed a few details and screenshots*of this upcoming replica of Big Boss’ high-tech walkie-talkie.
The size of the iDroid case looks like it obstructs some of the side buttons and ports of the unit, but most of them are actually still accessible via the case’s outer buttons and switches. The antenna part is detachable, and can be used as a touchpen stylus.
Needless to say, holographic screens and stuff aren’t available for the iDroid case, but at least you’ll be able to use it in conjunction with the iDroid app. Yes, that means you can literally make your iPhone 5 or 5S completely look and function like the actual thing (still no holograms though).
In case you’re already hot to buy the iDroid case, sorry to say, the Big Boss walkie-talkie still won’t be available until later in October this year. When it does become available in Japan though, it would be released at a retail price equivalent to $74.00.
